Get to know Fajr 2020 film themed on hearing impaired

Latest edition of Fajr Film Festival is set to host flick themed on people with hearing impairment.

Behrang Dezfoulizadeh's first feature 'Silent Snail' is one of the participants at 2020 edition of Fajr fest in Iran.

The flick stars Hanieh Tavassoli, Mehran Ahmadi, Pedram Shafeei and Mohsen Kiaee. 

The new Iranian cinema offering portrays people with hearing impairment.

Established in 1982, the Fajr Film Festival is an event that celebrates cultural exchange, displays creative achievements of highly acclaimed cineastes and pays tribute to local and international films.Since its establishment, the Fajr Film Festival has played a vital role in the development of the Iranian Cinema.

Supervised by Iran’s Ministry of Culture, the festival hosts veteran directors and new filmmakers from Iran and across the world every year.

The 38th Fajr Film Festival is set to kick off on February 1, 2020 and will run till February 11 in Tehran.
